ABOUT MARIA

She is as passionate about Latin Dancing as life itself.  Australian born Latino - the best of both worlds!  Her parents migrated to Australia in 1967 from South America, bringing with them an assorted collection of Latin music.  Maria was born listening & dancing to the music was just part of it.  From age 5 she studied R.A.D Classical Ballet, which continued for the next ten years.   Dancing always continued in various styles.  Maria completed an Associate Diploma in Theatre Arts, in which dancing remained a common thread throughout her performances.  The past 29 years of dancing experience include such styles as Classical Ballet, Character, Jazz, African, Flamenco, Modern & of course Latin dancing.
